Hello
&
Welcome back to school!
As you all know, this year is somehow different than every other year because of COVID-19. We are doing our best to make it as smooth as possible, ensuring the best experience for our students regardless.
There are a number of things we had to change in order to keep our students and staff safe, including how the Learning Commons functions.
Changes in the Learning Commons (LC)
1. We have converted half of the LC to a classroom, in order to support physical distancing between students and maximize on learning spaces.
2. We have minimized the seating area for students who wish to work in the LC to again support physical distancing.
3. Based on the CBE protocols for Learning Commons & Print-Based Resources in CBE’s 2020-2021 Re-Entry Guidelines (Scenario 1):
- “The Learning Commons space will not be available to students for finding resources.”
- “Resources must come to the student. Resources must not be shared.”
- “3-day quarantine period of print resources after use."
How do we Get Resources to the Students?
- “Use eLibrary to search for available print-based resources at your school.”
- Sign into e-library by using your student ID and Password.
